HUXLEY PARK
A wife and a mistress meet in a park at midnight to discuss the fate of the man they both love. One woman wants him to be happy. The other wants him to get what he deserves.
Huxley Park is a stylish short thriller about betrayal and retribution. Based on the short story of the same title by author Samantha Eliot Stier, this film begins with the midnight meeting of a scorned wife and a passionate mistress in a deserted park at midnight. As they discuss the fate of the man they share, secrets are revealed and threats are masterfully disguised. Ultimately, one woman gets exactly what she wants.
Huxley Park is a student project currently in pre-production. The production team is headed by Brooks Institute students: director Matt Bobbitt, cinematographers David Graves and Andrew Hreha, and visual effects supervisor/editor Robert DelTour. The team is embracing traditional techniques, ensuring a classic, film noir-style look on 35mm. They are working with industry professionals, mentors, and professors to create a polished, festival-worthy film.
The production team will be constantly updating their progress through weekly behind-the-scenes webisodes, news updates, and photo galleries. You can also follow the production on Twitter and Facebook.
